One of the issues on which there is agreement between the public and private sectors, to strengthen the capital market block through a larger number of participants. Here, the key is that the AFP have a more active participation in the financial markets of the Pacific Alliance.
The CEO of El Dorado Investments, Melvin Escudero, explained that this greater involvement of AFP will be achieved by considering their investments in any of the four countries as domestic. As a result, investment by AFP could overcome the restriction that currently represents the limit of investments abroad.
