CCL: Peru has the challenge of consolidating the Pacific Alliance

A few hours of starting the business summit of the Pacific Alliance in Paracas (Ica), the leader of the business association highlighted the importance of the work that will have on their hands Peruvian President Ollanta Humala, to set goals and targets to strengthen integration of Peru, Chile, Colombia and Mexico.

“As a state policy, it is up to President Humala to the utmost to make this alliance no longer a promise and become a reality, it will generate investment capacity, growth and attracting business and investment to the highest level that precisely the main tasks to be fulfilled to a year culminating his government, “he said.

With the participation of over 400 businessmen from member countries, the president of the CCL said the appointment will talk about competitiveness, productivity, innovation and educació, and the attention of about 40 observer countries have.

“Witness the progress with regard to regulation and harmonization of technical standards for the four countries, specifically for cosmetic item, hygiene, pharmaceutical, medical devices and dietary supplements. Therefore, this process generates a positive image in front of the observers and causing the summit which begins today prove key to consolidate the continuous advancement of the Pacific Alliance”, he said.
