The final day of the X Summit of the Pacific Alliance, inaugurated last night by President Ollanta Humala, began this morning with a plenary session with the participation of the presidents of the member countries, except for Juan Manuel Santos, Colombia, who anticipated his return.
The Chief of the Peruvian State gave opening session to be held in private. Will follow the speeches of the president of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto; and Chile, Michelle Bachelet.
Between 11:30 and 12:00 must sign the so-called Declaration of Paracas, with the agreements and commitments made at the summit, and must also sign the additional protocol; after that the President provide a closing statement.
By midday, between 12:15 and 12:55 hours, there will be a meeting with the Business Council of the Pacific Alliance, said the Foreign Ministry.
At 13:00 it was scheduled a message to the media.
The plenary session will be held under the leadership of Peru, who last night became president pro tempore of the Pacific Alliance for one year.
The initial agenda was altered following the anticipated return of Juan Manuel Santos in Colombia by terrorist attacks in the city of Bogota. In their representation Foreign Minister Maria Angela Holguin involved.
In response, the opening of the summit, which was scheduled for today, was held last night, after the participation of the representatives on the closure of the Business Summit.
